As some of you know I just got back from a week long photography conference in Las Vegas. It really made me think about the direction I want to take Simply Fabulous and what I want it to represent. I've had conversations with some of you about the word "boudoir" and boudoir photography, and I've been conflicted with calling it just that. I know Simply Fabulous represents more than that and honestly some of the shoots I've done haven't been true boudoir. What I do know is that it's FABULOUS photography for ALL women! I know I'm lagging on the posts again - please forgive me! It's been cray cray with the business, work, and school. It's been a while since I've posted so I thought I'd share a few photos from a shoot that I did on location at Miss W's house. She happens to be a really good friend and we had a good time doing her shoot. Lots of laughs, crazy poses, and a glass of wine to top it all off!!! Definitely good times!

One word -- FUN!! - San Francisco Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

I have one word to describe Jeanette's session -- Fun!! When she showed up for her shoot and I saw her outfit I just about melted. I ♥ Hello Kitty!! Anyone that shows up wanting to wear Hello Kitty anything in their shoot tells me they have personality and will be FUN to work with. She was definitely fun to work with and so down to earth. She told me she wasn't a lingerie type of girl, which I could totally relate to. We all define sexy in different ways and it doesn't have to be lingerie or baring it all. It's how you define sexy, and what makes you feel good inside and out. We're all fabulous in our own ways, and what I love is that for Jeanette, this shoot was about embracing who she is as a woman.

Here's a sneak peek from Therese's shoot with me! I love this girl and not just because she's family. She really is a genuine person, super sweet, and always has my back! So when she asked me if I would take her photos I was flattered and honored, especially since it was on her "bucket list." She's gorgeous inside and out, and of course FABULOUS!!! ;)

Jeanne - San Francisco Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

Hi everyone!! It feels good to be back on the blog! My apologies for being gone so long. Between school, work, practicum, and Delumpa Photography I've been pretty busy the last few months. Now that it's the end of December I have a little more breathing room and I'm ready to get Simply Fabulous going again! First things first - catching up on blog posts!  

Like I always say, what's a blog without a few photos. So without further delay here are some of my favorites from Jeanne's shoot!!  I had a lot of fun during this shoot, because Jeanne came in with some of her own ideas and she was not shy at all. This woman is successful, loving, compassionate, and GORGEOUS!!

Simply Fabulous Shoot with Miss Donna - San Francisco Bay Area Boudoir Photographer

Hello everyone!! 

So sorry I've been missing on the blog. August was definitely a busy month for Simply Fabulous and it just flew right by!! One of the gorgeous ladies that came in for a shoot was Donna. I had so much fun with her. We shared a lot of laughs, but by the end she was a pro. The nerves went away and she had fun with it!

One last thing I have to mention -- can you believe that Donna just had a baby 8 months ago??? Doesn't she look amazing??? Oh and I loved the head to toe pink!! Definitely her style!! ♥
